Appeal process
Any decision by the Program Administrator can be appealed in writing, outlining why you think the decision is incorrect. The party affected by the decision, whether an individual Applicant or a Training Provider, must make the appeal; appeals cannot be received from third parties.
The Program Administrator will review the initial decision and advise the outcome of the appeal process. If you are not satisfied with the appeal decision, then further appeal can be made to the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry.
Privacy
Information provided about participants in Application and Claim forms is held and used in accordance with the Information Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 and will only be used to assess your application or claim, and to administer the FarmReady program.
Participants may be asked to participate in follow-up activities following completion like surveys and case studies. Statistical information from the Application and Claim forms and surveys will be used to evaluate the effectiveness of FarmReady.
Liability
Participation in the FarmReady program is voluntary and at the Applicant’s own risk. Accordingly, the Commonwealth of Australia and the Program Administrator accept no liability or responsibility, to the extent permitted by law, for any loss (economic or otherwise) or injury, including loss or injury caused by negligence, to any person as a result of undertaking a course or their involvement with the Training Provider or them acting or refraining from acting on any outcomes from a course. Applicants should discuss any insurance concerns directly with their chosen Training Provider.Courses are registered under the FarmReady program if they meet the requirements as set out in the Program Guidelines. Although FarmReady is funded by the Commonwealth of Australia, the Commonwealth of Australia is not responsible for, and does not necessarily endorse the course content and materials provided by, or the views expressed by, the Training Provider. The Training Provider is an external service provider and does not represent or act on behalf of the Commonwealth of Australia.
Intellectual Property
Any intellectual property submitted by Training Providers, for example as course materials, will only be used for the purposes of assessing applications for course registration.
Spam / Unsolicited communicationsContact details for Training Providers are made available solely to support the aims of Farmready. These details are not published as an invitation to receive unsolicited messages (whether by e-mail, phone or any other method) and we do not consent to receipt or sending of such materials.
Any unsolicited commercial messages that are received which contravene this policy are strictly prohibited and also a breach of the Spam Act 2003.
Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics to obtain reports on how people use the site.
