How is FarmReady delivered?
- FarmReady Reimbursement Grants are administered by a Program Administrator contracted by the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry. ANU Enterprise Pty Ltd is the Program Administrator.
- Reimbursement grants are available to all individuals who participate in FarmReady registered training courses and are deemed eligible for support under these Guidelines.
- Training Providers need to apply to have their courses registered, and continue to meet the conditions of registration in order for their courses to be listed under FarmReady.
- FarmReady runs until 30 June 2012. To allow for administrative processes at the end of the program, reimbursement will not be available for courses completed after 31 May 2012.
What is the role of the Program Administrator?
- Applications for course registration and participant reimbursement are assessed by the Program Administrator contracted by the Department.
- The assessment process is documented by the Program Administrator and carried out in accordance with the requirements outlined in these Guidelines.
Appeals process
- Any decision by the Program Administrator can be appealed in writing, outlining why you think the decision is incorrect. The party affected by the decision, whether an individual Applicant or a Training Provider, must make the appeal (ie appeals cannot be received from third parties).
- The Program Administrator will review the initial decision and advise the outcome of the appeal process.
- If you are not satisfied with the appeal decision, then further appeal can be made to the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry.
