Designed for the fresh produce industry, the Freshcare Food Safety and Quality Program uses tools such as risk assessment, hazard analysis critical control point (HACCP) and prescribed good agricultural practice (GAP) to identify and manage food safety and quality risks on farm.

The Freshcare Food Safety and Quality Code of Practice - 3rd Edition, provides an innovative and practical set of tools to guide growers through a risk based on-farm assurance process.

The Code provides an auditable (3rd party) standard through which Australian growers can demonstrate compliance to both food safety and quality requirements.
