Course Description:
Freshcare 'Transition Training' is designed to deliver the Freshcare Food Safety and Quality Code of Practice - 3rd Edition to fresh produce growers and grower/packers who have had some previous experience of on-farm assurance programs (including earlier versions of the Freshcare Code).
The 'Transition Training' introduces the new requirements of the 3rd Edition Freshcare Code of Practice, including risk assessments, hazard analysis, control measures, verification and specific good management / agricultural practices (GMPs / GAPs).
The Code provides an auditable (3rd party) standard through which Australian growers can demonstrate compliance to both food safety and quality requirements.
