Course Description:

The Nutrition EDGE is a workshop designed for northern Australian beef producers to build knowledge, skill and capacity to maximise production through effective management of the feedbase with animal requirements. Completion of this workshop provides an understanding of pasture growth, maximising quality and matching feed demand with supply in variable climatic seasons. The workshop also provides beef producers with the tools available to manage pasture condition, improve the consistency of utilising the existing feedbase and enhance diet quality to provide optimal nutrition for livestock. The workshop format consists of a three day interactive workshop and practical sessions in the paddock.
