Our accredited training covers environmentally sustainable work pracitces, conducting an environmental audit of your Macadamia Farm, identifying and finding way to improve current resource use, and developing a deeper understanding of the implications of climate change on your particular industry and region. We will cover carbon markets, regional influences, opportunities and contacts, and improve your financial resilience involved in environmental changes. Our four half day workshops will cover practical skills both in the classroom and on the farm. You will be given resources to develop a hands on strategic plan, to prepare for changes to water quailty and management, as well as soil degradation and other climate related issues. Implementation and monitoring of improvements to resources and farm systems will be the ongoing outcome of this training program.
