Course Description:

Improving Structural Soundness (ISS) is a 1 day workshop designed specifically for beef producers to assist and apply the fundamentals in breeding livestock. Selection and correct structure for your environment is a critical component for sustaining functional and profitable stock. This can lead to both management and economic business benefits. This program will cover selecting for seedstock and steer production to assist both the existing and new breeders for climate change. This workshop is geared for smaller groups for you to get the most benefit. The total duration of the workshop is 8 hours and is designed to follow on with second workshop "Improving Genetics" to gain maximum benefit.
