This course, aimed at the agricultural industry, provides the understanding and framework to allow participants to accurately plan and make decisions for their farm strategically. This is achieved through incorporating technical-skills and advice for maximum sustainable production given the result of the changing climate together with a more holistic view of the farm as an enterprise requiring scenario mapping and strategic decision making. Emphasis is placed on the role of pastures and the necessity of thorough feed base planning as a crucial step in ensuring sustainable farming practices, particularly through instances of drought and differing-from-average rainfall.
