Course Description:

This training aims to improve the capacity of irrigation farmers to adapt their on-farm operations to reduced water availability, a major impact of climate change arising from increased temperature and reduced rainfall in key irrigation areas. The course covers the economics covers the economics, technical and managerial aspects of converting surface water irrigation systems to low pressure overhead irrigation, a system with greater water use productivity potential.
