Course Description:

Florabank Seed Collector and Producer Training provides primary producers with an accredited technical training option in native seed collection and production which they can use to diversify their income base, capture a new commercial opportunity, and develop new practical skills through the use of specialist techniques. In addition to the climate-ready advantages to the product collected or produced - native seed - can be used to meet the growing demand for seed carbon and restoration plantings, and assist in meeting National climate change and natural resource management goals. This is a four day course with take-home or work-place based assessment.
